Part of a new webinar series: Feminist alternatives for Europe’s uncharted future
Sport has the potential to foster well-being and solidarity, but it also often reinforces exclusion and inequality. This interactive webinar will explore how sport (re)produces misogyny, trans hostility, racism, and binary norms, and why we need to deconstruct these structures to build gender-just, community-oriented alternatives. It will also offer both theoretical reflections and practical tools to foster structural transformation.

Through discussion, exchange, and practical insights, the session will focus on intersectional gender equality in sport and the shift from competitive models to inclusive, socially healthy practices.

- Intersectional gender equality, anti-discrimination, and anti-racism in sport.
- Community building and social health through inclusive physical activities.
- Deconstructing patriarchal sport systems and promoting gender-just alternatives.
This will be an interactive webinar with science-practice exchange and collective discussion.
This event sets out to create a space for feminists and other engaged citizens to interact with each other and promote an intersectional understanding, including intersections among women*, LGBTIQ+, migrants, and other minority groups, scholars, and experts, in sum, all those committed to (learning about) transforming sport structures into participatory community spaces of justice and care.
